Outcomes

In order to initiate enabling processes constant dialogue between the consumer and the service provider would encourage the community to increase their participation, due to existence of large tribal population in the state there is a need to sensitize the tribal leaders and communities by first studying their custom and practices before initiating a campaign, and finally a special focus on advocacy at the social, media, religious and political level.

In addition to the community level gains, the project is also expected to provide a long drawn capacity building to the State and Districts BCS Implementation teams to conceptualize, design, plan and monitor local level BCS initiatives based on local situations. The strengthening of community level linkages of service delivery system especially better Public Private participation and community level linkages to Panchayati Raj institutions, NGOs, Self help groups with the primary, secondary level health service delivery systems are some of the other outputs of the project.
