Components of the VANITHA CLINICS

Medical Training: There are Two Types of providers in the Franchised network, of VANITHA™ CLINIC, each type receiving distinctive training.

Reliable Supply: International quality contraceptive pills, Condoms, and IUCD’s are subsidized by certain programs & schemes and are sold at prices that are affordable for low-income clients.

Public Education: Demand creation for the Vanitha ™ Clinic reproductive health services and products is conducted through mass media promotion of family planning and reproductive health services featuring the Vanitha ™ Clinic logo. The logo, promoted as the symbol of high quality, affordable family planning products and services, is placed on the signboards of certified clinics and pharmacies, and it also appears on the cover of its four contraceptive products. Program staff members also reach directly into communities, organizing neighborhood meetings in which broad ranges of reproductive health issues are addressed.

Technical Support and Quality Control: Vanitha ™ Clinic Instructors make regular visits to the franchised and model clinics to follow up on the quality of services and product availability. A medical detailing force also visits the Clinic doctors and non – graduate doctors. Also monthly meetings are regularly conducted to keep a check and supervision on the quality of product and services being delivered under the umbrella name.

Program Evaluation:The programs undergoes a regular visits by the instructors of the clinic and the subsequent monthly reviews. Thereby, a series of evaluations and assessments on the improvements in quality of care increases in service delivery and program impact is done.
